The #Stpri channel hasn't exactly been one of those popular channels such as #Brunei, despite being registered.  However, It's always had people coming in now and again, including myself, as a place where STPRI students could just come together under one channel.  However, due to lack of support, the channel was purged by Undernet Administrators and left on it's own.

Then, in late July 1999, with the support of some of the #Stpri chatters, I decided to register it and make it an active channel once again.  Although not having as much chatters when we began with, due to the fact that most of the chatters are doing rehearsals for the 20th Sea Games, we've always had our fair share of people coming in.  Most of them were quite delighted to know that the channel is registered now, and some are quite keen to see what would become of the #Stpri homepage.  So, if we're to stop half way now, we'd end up dissapointing a number of people!

Before the channel was registered, #Stpri was the target for channel abusers and flooders.  To provide a little bit of security to the channel, one of our channel operators, ApAcHe, has decided to set up the bot [Apache] to watch over the channel, along with the #Brunei bot ItChY.  For this, I'd like to thank ApAcHe for his contribution to the channel.  Now, we've managed to get a considerable amount of people in the channel and even our own Stpri students knows about the existence of this channel!

Finally, I just like to wish all of the STPRI students who will be doing or are doing their exams this year good luck.  I hope with the existence of this homepage and #Stpri, you now have a place on the Undernet that you can call home.

Take care all. Assalamualaikum. :)

Always,
